Climate Types:
A. Climate: The climate of Costa Rica depends on the season. Between the months of December and April, Costa Rica has it's dry season and between the months of May and November Costa Rica has its rainy season. The climate is subtropical as well as tropical. Costa Rica is made up of tropical rain, cloud, and tropical dry rainforests.

Seasonality:
A. Guanacaste- gets between zero and 2,000 millimeters of precipitation annually. The annual range of temperature is  8.
San Jose- precipitation is more than 6,000 millimeters annually. The annual range of temperature is 5.
B. The annual temperature and precipitation in Costa Rica compared to the annual temperature and precipitation in Honolulu is very different. For example, the annual range of temperature for Honolulu is 23; whereas Guanacaste and San Jose are 8 and 5. The annual precipitation range for Honolulu is between .4 and 4 inches.
C. Costa Rica experiences small seasonality because it is a subtropical/tropical area.
